2 Clean Cities Mission Utah Clean Cities Mission: To advance Utah’s energy, economic, and environmental security through the promotion of alternative fuels & alternative fuel vehicle technologies that reduce foreign oil use in the transportation sector. Coalition Milestones: 1993 Salt Lake Clean Cities Coalition created 1994 Designative the 16 th Clean Cities Coalition 1999 Non-profit 501(c)3 2005 Statewide: Utah Clean Cities Coalition (UCCC) 2010 Expansion: two coordinators & two offices 2014 20 th Anniversary

3 Clean Cities Across the Nation Utah Clean Cities began in 1994 as the 16 th Clean Cities in the nation. Now, almost 100 coalitions are found nationwide who are dedicated to reducing petroleum use, improving air quality, and enhancing the lives of community members.
