 to organize (things) so that the most important thing is done or dealt with first  ****This is extremely important when balancing school work, a job, involvement in various clubs and organizations, a social life, signifcant other, and a/your family!****

 Checklists  Time Management  Setting Goals  Using a Planner  Eating Well  Getting Enough Sleep  ENJOYING WHAT YOU DO!

Use checklists to organize your dailiy, weekly, or monthly tasks Put your most important tasks first; for example, deadlines you may have for assignments, work hours, things along those lines. Something that needs immediate attention Always check (or highlight!) things when you complete them! This gives you a sense of accomplishment

Make sure you allot enough time for each task you have planned for that day, week, etc. Always provide enough time for your prioritizes! Don’t forget, your social life, including your family, friend, significant other, needs time too! Does anyone feel the struggle with time management sometimes? Maybe by procrastinating?

Make sure your goals are SMART: Specific – What exactly do you want to accomplish? Measureable – How will you note the progress toward you goal and what it was achieved? Attainable – Is it something you can achieve at once, do it require you to have smaller goals before reaching a huge goal? Relevant – How will this help shape you and your life? How will it benefit you? Time-Bound – Do you have enough time to reach your goal? Is it reasonable?

Organize your daily tasks Have a map of what you have due, what you have coming up, and when you are FREE to make plans! Write EVERYTHING in your planner! Not matter how small! Everything is important! How many people use a planner? How many people use it not only for school but for their daily lives as well?

Always try to eat your vegetables, fruits, meats, and grains! Although it is okay to snack and indulge in delicious foods such as cake and candies for special events, try not to go overboard! (FRESHMEN 15?) It is statistically proven that those who eat better have MORE energy, are MORE focused, and are HAPPIER people! Are you taking vitamins daily? Are you drinking 8 glasses of water minimum?

You should average about 8 hours minimum of sleep per night Comfort in where you sleep is crucial!

Only be involved in what makes you HAPPY! YOU SHOULD ALWAYS ENJOY WHAT OYU DO! How many people feel they enjoy what they do in life? How many people feel they need to focus more on finding their happiness?

What do you during the course of one year? How accurate do you think this study is today?

 Are there any other ways you can share that you know and use to prioritize your lives and balance all of your responsibilities?
