8 Data and Accountability Complete College America (CCA) – Illinois is a founding member of the CCA Alliance of States with Illinois education agencies unanimously endorsing the CCA initiative in early 2010. – Measuring Completion Progress Longitudinal Data – In progress – Incorporates 6 other state agency data repositories. Performance Funding – Policy Lever -- Adult Education part of the metric – ICCS PBF is a continuous improvement model. It utilizes a formula that focuses on community colleges competing only against themselves. Industry Recognized Credentials – Long a part of the program applications – ICCB just beginning to tackle this on the data side – Integral part of a Career Pathway System

9 Transfer GECC Credential – ICCB recently passed rules that provides a credential for completion of general education at a community college Early Childhood Education Credentialing Workgroup – ICCB and the Governor’s Office working on a strategy to connect industry credentials to certificate programs Bridging the Gap – Curriculum Alignment Grants in 23 colleges in FY 2014. Dual Credit Expansion and Enhancement Grants – Designed to increase the number of secondary students engaging in early college credit models. – Revised the rules to allow flexibility for Early College Models.

10 Workforce Workforce Strategic Plan – A strategic plan for workforce that includes CTE and Adult Education – Kicking off now Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) – An initiative aimed at connecting Workforce Data with Longitudinal Education data through the Longitudinal Data System Workforce Innovation Fund (WIF) – The ICCB is providing a revised manufacturing contextualized curriculum and professional development to regional WIF partners. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity ACT – Reauthorization of WIA – Strong Career Pathways Focus – Focus of the ICCB Workforce Division

15 25 colleges are participating in Illinois’ Integrated Career and Academic Pathway System/Accelerating Opportunity (ICAPS/AO Over 40 integrated pathways are available to students The Transitions Academy is Illinois’ process to scale up and support ICAPS/AO implementation Professional Development and Technical Assistance to the colleges ICAPS/AO Video and Logo Internal and External Partnerships AO / ICAPS Accomplishments
