READ:ISAIAH 14:8 8Indeed, the cypress trees rejoice over you and the cedars of Lebanon, Saying, Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice cypress trees. I will enter its farthest height, to its fruitful forest.

And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.

Their adversaries said, We have not offended, Because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, The LORD, the hope of their fathers. READ:EZEKIEL 34:2-3 2Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool. You slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock.

He was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns. There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him. Every man shall eat the flesh of his own arm. 21Manasseh shall devour Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh. Together they shall be against Judah. For all this His anger is not turned away But His hand is stretched out still.

READ:ISAIAH 24:5 5The earth is defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. READ:JEREMIAH 11:10 10They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers who refused to hear My words. They have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.

And when you offered My food, the fat and the blood, Then they broke My covenant because of all your abominations.

READ:LEVITICUS 26:44 44Yet for all that, When they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, Nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them Or break My covenant with them For I am the LORD their God. READ:JUDGES 2:1 1The Angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim and said: I led you up from Egypt And brought you to the land of which I swore to your fathers. Remember, do not break Your covenant with us.

Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, to make them lie down safely. READ:EZEKIEL 34:25 25I will make a covenant of peace with them and cause wild beasts to cease from the land. They will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.
