Select Copy from the Edit menu to copy the cell. Select the cell where you want to paste the copied item. From the Edit menu, choose Paste Special to display the Paste Special dialog box.

You can use the mouse to hide a column by dragging the right column border over, and past, the left column border OR you can select rows or columns and right click, and use the Hide command on the popup menu displayed

Cell protection will not take effect until the worksheet is protected (with Contents checked). By default, all cells are locked. You must unlock any cell that you wish users to be able to edit BEFORE YOU LOCK THE WORKSHEET!

Click on the button with the right-hand mouse button to display the shortcut menu Select Assign Macro to display the Assign Macro dialog box. From the Macro name list box, choose a macro or record a new one using the Record button. To assign the macro to the button, select OK. If there is already a macro assigned to the button, it will be changed.
