4. How Well Does LASIK Work? Depends on how much correction needed With low to moderate myopia Over 90% achieve 20/40 or better About 50% achieve 20/20 With high myopia (more then –7D) or high hyperopia (more than +4D), fewer achieve 20/40 or 20/20 Complication rate is less than 2% after two years
