Introduction Welcome to the Daintree Rainforest. it’s very moist and peaceful here. It’s very hot because it’s on the equator [the imaginary line through the world] which the sun’s rays hit most powerfully.

Features Here at the Daintree Rainforest there’s an emergent layer, the canopy, the understory, the shrub layer and the herb layer. It has heaps of nice oxygen for you to use.

What Lives Here ?/Food Chain In most Tropical Rainforests fruit bat / pteropus livingstonii, ant, caterpillar and mushroom. Live here (But these are only some of the animals and plants that live here.)With these animals I found the food chin would be: Fruit bat, caterpillar, ant, mushroom.

Where It Is ? The Daintree Rainforest is north of Cairns.
