6. CIL-M: 2010 - 2011 All remaining Ontario boards will be invited to participate in the CIL-M project, as follows:  Beginning in mid-June calls will be made to directors of all remaining Boards to extend invitations for participation  During September and October initial visits will take place for all new replicating boards  From November to May CIL-M site-based sessions will take place – 6 sessions at each site per year (with in-between funded co-teaching sessions)  Based on the participant feedback we are in the process of making some revisions to the 2 day model – more details will be shared in the fall

7. Other Updates An upcoming LNS Monograph:  “Understanding and Developing Students’ Mathematical Communication: Strategically Coordinating Whole Class Discussion” ELL Math Assessment Tool  Currently being field tested in several school boards  Revisions to be done over the summer  Designed to be a resource for boards to use to support the initial assessment process for newly arrived students (ELL)
