Web browsers It’s a software application for retrieving and presenting information on WWW. An information resource is identified by a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and may be a web page, image, video or other piece of content. The major web browsers are Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
