15. His Apostleship {184} I n Paul’s opening salutation in Galatians he goes out of his way to describe the basis of his apostolic authority. Literally, the word apostle means “someone who is sent” or “a messenger.”

The words basically describe his gospel message. The grace and peace are not from Paul but from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
