2. TRASH HILLS The following are immediate actions and solutions to help kick start the environment safeguard and restoration in Lebanon. Most require experts and activists and cooperation with NGOs and the government. Some require an environmental assessment to ensure a positive impact on the environment.

3. TRASH HILLS Immediate solution -stop adding more trash to the existing catastrophe. -Start planning and building a recycling system. Activists and experts needed

4. LITTERING Immediate solution -Heavy tickets for littering and those caught throwing trash in the wrong places. -Establish an emergency phone number to report litterers. Activists needed.

5. RECYCLING Immediate solution -Planning/building recycling systems. -Municipalities to provide divided trash bins. -Launch Educational programs. Experts and activists needed.

6. RECYCLING -Sustainability is key to start Planning and start manufactoring sustainable products and sustainable living. Experts and activists needed.

7. AIR POLLUTION Immediate solution -Grace period for manufactories to install air filtering systems. -Then, heavy tickets to all polluting factors. Such as manufactories, electric generators, etc… Activists needed.

8. AIR POLLUTION Immediate solution -Renovate public transportation using greener vehicles. -Prioritize it, make it appealing and reliable. -Advertise to encourage its use. Activists needed

9. AIR POLLUTION Immediate solution -Big governmental support (tax breaks) to people switching to green cars. -Heavy taxation on second and third and fourth cars in one family. Activist needed.

10. AIR POLLUTION Immediate solution -Start a public bikes stations program in Beirut. Systems exist already in other cities (including European and US cities). Experts and activists needed.

11. AIR AND LAND POLLUTION Immediate action needed -addressing the issue of asbestos in the northern region of Lebanon. And other regions prone to this issue. Experts and activists needed.

12. WATER POLLUTION Immediate solution -Heavy taxation and punishment for Sewer drainage in the landfill. -Review the channeling of water waste that goes in the sea, and its filtering system. Experts and activists needed

13. ANIMAL LIFE Immediate solution -Heavy fines for hunting and fishing seasons violators, and animals mistreatment. -Patrolling concerned areas. -Campaigning for laws respect. Experts and activists needed.

14. GREENERY Immediate solution -Specify a map for rock and sand extraction sites. -Planting trees and greening lands to balance the losses. -Preparedness for summer fires. Experts and activists needed.

15. EDUCATION/COOPERATION Immediate solution Educate in schools, companies and the public. Unify efforts of all associations and movements. Organize citizens initiatives. Seek international funding, help and expertise. Experts and activists needed.
