6 Psalm 129 Out of the depths have I cried to you O Lord Lord hear my voice. O let your ears consider well the voice of my supplication. If you O Lord should mark iniquities Lord who shall endure it? But with you there is merciful forgiveness And by reason of your law I have waited for you O Lord From the morning watch even until night Let Israel hope in the Lord. Because with the Lord there is mercy and with him plentiful redemption and he shall redeem Israel for all its iniquities

11 PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL In response to the Gospel anyone may try and say a prayer, ending: Lord in your mercy….. Missal suggests 4 intentions That our church might….. That our society might….. That our parish might….. At this special time we might.. PLEASE NOTE: these prayers are for us here. Those who are absent (the poor, refugees, sick, dead etc) should be remembered at the “memento” during the Eucharistic prayer

12 There is no plate collection here unless for a previously intimated good cause. NEXT WEEK for parishes in greater need than us. If you wish to support your place of worship you should do this through your bank or the envelope system. Forms in sacristy. Box at back for visitors’ donations. Pray that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy church

26 RECESSIONAL We sing of those whose lives are lost and broken who pay the price when reason’s voice is stilled. Across the world their cries come sharply to us imprisoned, tortured, starving, bound and killed. We know like them of evil’s dark oppression; we live like them through hope which God instilled. They rest in peace their struggle now is ended; their people’s pain is still denied a cure. Their comrades fight for freedom truth and justice; Our God continues to embrace the poor. With them in unity of hope and purpose W e rest our trust in victory that’s sure. (Baptist Peace Fellowship)
