2 Oak Ridge National Laboratory Oak Ridge, Tennessee ESPC project funded by $8.2 million in guaranteed annual savings Scope includes: Upgrading existing natural gas steam plant to a wood gasification biomass plant Upgrading outdated infrastructure in existing plant Upgrading existing steam distribution system Advanced metering networked to Metasys® building management system Reduces fossil fuel consumption by over 80%

3 Aberdeen Proving Ground Aberdeen, Maryland Three ESPC projects with total projected savings of more than $5 million annually Scope includes: Decreased steam waste, effectively increasing plant capacity Energy efficient lighting retrofits and upgrades for more than 100 buildings Full automation of steam generation and distribution process Improved steam and electrical system efficiency and reliability Common platform for energy delivery, operation and maintenance decisions Reliable and more efficient steam supply for heating and hot water at soldier barracks

4 Whiteman Air Force Base Whiteman AFB, Missouri Two projects: UMCS contract includes metering and additional contract for HVAC upgrade Scope included: Installation and integration of electric and natural gas meters Steam plant upgrade to enable remote control Outside air sensing and monitoring of 100 buildings Complete controls upgrade for 30 buildings Boiler and chiller upgrades for 13 buildings

5 Fort Bliss Fort Bliss, Texas ESPC project with total projected savings of more than $500K annually Developed in concert with USACE EEAP report Scope included: Installation of solar thermal renewable technology Energy efficient lighting retrofits and upgrades for more than 50 buildings Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) LON platform covering 1.52 million square feet Provided lighting occupancy sensors in 25 buildings

6 Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command Twentynine Palms, California Three-phase ESPC project with projected savings around $7 million annually Over past five years, savings have exceeded projections Scope includes: Building 7.5 megawatt cogeneration facility Building 1.2 megawatt photovoltaic dual tracking solar array Adding three new central chiller plants with 3,600 tons of cooling capacity Providing renewal power systems and connections to the central water plants

7 Denver Federal Center Denver, Colorado Two-phase ESPC project with guaranteed energy savings of $450,000 per year Scope included: Lighting retrofits Upgraded HVAC equipment Installed new, high-efficiency chillers and pumps Recommissioned existing solar hot water heating systems Improved irrigation control system yielding water savings of nearly 11 million gallons per year Installed system to automate electric and gas meter readings in all major facilities

8 Fort Bragg Fort Bragg, North Carolina Retrofit project including mechanical, controls, mold and mildew mitigation and energy plant Scope included: Replaced boilers and chillers, air- handling units and VAV boxes Installation of new LON DDC controls Base-wide integration of controls Removal of contaminated sheetrock, paint and asbestos Fire alarm and pumps installation Advanced metering

9 U.S. Navy Base Guam ESPC contract for energy conservation measures to reduce energy use by over 10% Scope includes: Large-scale solar photovoltaic power system New induction lighting equipment Base-wide Metasys® building management system

10 NASA Ames Research Center Moffett Federal Airfield, California ESPC contract with guaranteed energy savings of more than $500,000 annually Scope included: Lighting retrofits in Center’s older buildings Reprogrammed and recommissioned systems Installed a windmill-driven mechanical pump to drain north basin Coordinating schedules with site personnel and subcontractors, along with maintaining timetables and providing communications to on-site operations team

11 Fort Hood Fort Hood, Texas Two-phase Super ESPC contract for energy conservation measures with guaranteed savings of $1.77 million annually Scope includes: Lighting Lighting Sensors Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) LON platform covering 2.5 million square feet VFDs Service agreement to include on- site controls technicians and HVAC mechanics

12 Naval Aviation Depot Cherry Point, North Carolina UMCS contract to reduce energy costs and increase employee productivity Scope includes: Metasys® building management system to optimize energy consumption and maintain production schedules Placed meters at 72 major utility substations and connected them to Metasys to enable better information and real-time adjustments Established maintenance strategy through Metasys to free 3-4 full- time employees to perform higher- level tasks
