Before we start: The Rules University Exam regulations apply- YOU will FAIL if caught cheating No calculator will be needed OR Calculators are permitted***amend accordingly*** An unmarked Translation dictionary is allowed Pen and blank paper are allowed (no notebooks) Do NOT: Eat, drink, or speak during the exam Communicate with other students Use any books or notes Use other internet pages or mobile devices Leave within the first 30 minutes of the exam or the last 20 minutes***(amend accordingly)*** Leave to take a bathroom break without alerting an invigilator If you violate these rules, you are liable to fail the examination

Before we start: How to take the test Entering the quiz password will start the test Watch the countdown clock at the right of the screen You will have X minutes to answer X questions Each question has a single best answer ***(amend accordingly)*** You can step through the questions by clicking Next, OR answer questions in any order and go back, using the navigation panel on the top right of the screen. Do check your answers. You can change them until your time is up. When you are sure you have answered everything to your satisfaction, click “Finish Attempt”, then “Submit All and Finish”, then confirm at the prompt. If you click these by mistake, cancel to return to the quiz. You may leave quietly when you have finished but not within the first 30 min or last 20 minutes.*** ( amend accordingly)*** You MUST submit your attempt before leaving the exam room An announcement will be made via the Moodle site when feedback and results are made available. You should also receive an email.

5. Leaving early? If you complete the test early and would like to leave the room. DO NOT LOG OUT OF MOODLE Please raise your hand. An Invigilator will come and ensure that your have submitted your attempt at the test and grant you permission to leave.
