2 Levers A lever consists of two parts-a bar or plank and a fixed point, called a fulcrum.

3 Wedges A type of wedge is a Ax or a Clovis point. A wedge changes a downward or forward force into a sideways force.

4 pulley There are three types of pulleys. They are the fixed pulley, movable pulley, and fixed and movable.

5 Inclined Planes A ramp is an inclined plane. Inclined planes make work easier by reducing the effort force needed to move something.

6 Screw A screw holds two pieces of wood together. A screw is a twisted inclined planes. You have to keep turning a screw for it to move a short distance.

7 Wheels and Axles I doorknob is a wheel and axle. It has two parts. One is a wheel and the other is the bar that goes threw the center. A Ferris wheel is a wheel and axle.
