We cannot rely on the church to raise our children in the Lord Fathers, not churches, Eph. 6:4 Church not as strong as a family can be

We must keep the commands, Deut. 6:1-3 Know them, Acts 17:11 Live them, Jas. 1:22 Teach them, 2 Tim. 2:2

We must spend time with our children Sit in your house: inside home Walk by the way: outside home Lie down: end of day Rise up: start of day On hand & between eyes: see & do Doorposts & gates: coming & going

Practical ways fulfill our duty Discussion of sermons & lessons Study verses – little ones draw a picture Use a workbook Post Scripture on walls, doors, mirrors Visit with other Christians Take to gospel meetings Quiz them on the Bible Pray together
