2 MONDAY, SEPT. 10 Write the following vocabulary definitions on your own sheet of paper for the bell work activity. 1.Mainstay- noun- A chief support: Agriculture is a mainstay of the economy. 2.Guarantee- noun- a promise or an assurance for the fulfillment of a condition 3.Coincide- verb- to occupy the same place in space or time 4.Eulogy- noun- a speech in praise of a person who has died, often said at a funeral 5.Enlighten- verb- to give intellectual or spiritual light to; instruct; impart knowledge to
