5.  Other Academic Measures are additional alternative instruments ensuring a robust teacher(or leader) evaluation, capturing unique facets of effective teaching, and reflecting student academic performances impacted by the teacher (or leader). Other Academic Measures

6.  Each teacher and leader will make an annual selection of the Other Academic Measure (OAM) from a list approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Education.  Teachers and leaders must select an OAM that is relevant to their job duties.  Teachers and leaders must select an OAM that is currently in use in the district. 7.  Local school boards must ensure that teachers and leaders have at least two relevant OAM options.  Teachers who teach multiple subjects and/or grades are not required to select an OAM for each subject or grade taught.  Because the results of many OAMs are unavailable until after the current year’s evaluations are completed, current year OMAs will be added to the overall evaluation score the following year.
