2 Our school is a state greek school. The greek “Gymnasium” is the first step of greek secondary education (the second is called “Lyceum”). It includes three “classes” and the pupils are from 12 to 15 years old. It was established in 1979. In the first place, it was housed in an old building, but thirteen years later, in 1992, was housed in a brand new building (36, Ammohostou st). In 1999 we obtained a modern library, financed by a european project (75%) and greek state (25%). Our school has about 240 pupils. We have around 25 teachers. The director of our school is Mr. Petros Kallergis, a teacher of Psysics, and the assistant manager is Mr. Stavros Katsiros, a teacher of Physical Education.
