5 Graduation Requirements (State Testing)  Ohio Graduation Test (OGT):  10 th grade students must pass all five portions of the test  Portions include:  Writing  Reading  Mathematics  Social Studies  Science  Students will have one opportunity in the fall and one in the spring of their junior and senior years, plus the summer to retake content areas not yet passed

6 Physical Education Waiver  Students may be excused from the physical education requirement for graduation by participating in the following for at least two seasons:  Athletics*  Marching band  Cheerleading  Participation in one full season cannot be combined with 0.25 credits of PE to meet the graduation requirement *NOTE: see the Bexley High School Physical Education Waiver handout for list of approved athletic activities / teams

9 Schedule Change Policy  Elective Change:  A student may drop a course within the first eight days of the semester  Dropping after this time period may result in the following reflected on the transcript:  ‘W’ (withdrawn)  ‘WF’ (Withdraw failing)  ‘WP’ (withdraw passing)  Level Change:  A student may change course levels between week 3 and 6 of the course  Level change will be reflected on the student’s transcript with the original course shown as a ‘W’ (withdraw)
