3. 28 February 2005 - cp LV PS Procurement 3 LV PS Procurement Schedule July 16 2004 Market Survey closing 5 companies qualified January 3 Call for tender sent out February 14 Call for tender closing February 22 Call for tender opening Last week & this week Clarification of the offers March 3 LECC - discussion on contract and procedures for contract operation If approval is given by LECC, FI Purchasing will formally be told that we wish to place contracts Triggers the formal notification to the suppliers concerned Early March Samples will be ordered for testing The frame contracts will be negotiated Based on existing contracts Aimed at concluding by mid March Mid March Contract placement Early - mid May (8 weeks later) Sample testing starts Acceptance of samples Autumn First orders (Small quantities of non- controversial versions from summer?) This is OPTIMISTIC

Quality Were the test conditions accepted and data correctly recorded? Etc. Decide on tests to be verified/repeated/completed
