1 Tuition Waiver KRS 164.505 (unlimited) The dependent child, stepchild, or orphan OR Unremarried spouse OF A Kentucky National Guard member killed while serving in state active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty training OR An active duty member who was killed while on active duty for the US Armed Forces OR A former Kentucky National Guard member or former active duty member who died as a result of service-connected disability WHO WAS A resident of Kentucky upon joining the Kentucky National Guard or upon entering military service.

2 Tuition Waiver KRS 164.507 (45 months) The dependent child, stepchild, or orphan that is under the age of 26 OR Unremarried spouse OF A deceased individual who served in the US Armed Forces during a national emergency, wars declared by Congress, or actions of the United Nations and Was discharged under honorable conditions OR An active duty member who died in the Armed Forces of the US regardless of wartime service OR A deceased individual who died as a result of a service-connected disability acquired while on active duty with the US Armed Forces regardless of wartime service and Was discharged under honorable conditions WHO WAS A resident of Kentucky at the time of death OR Married to a Kentucky resident at time of death.

3 Tuition Waiver KRS 164.515 (45 months) A dependent child, stepchild, or orphan that is under the age of 26 OR A spouse (regardless of age) OF A permanently and totally disabled member of the Kentucky National Guard or Reserve component injured on state active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty training OR A permanently and totally disabled war veteran (for pension purposes) OR A 100% service-connected disabled veteran regardless of wartime service OR A prisoner of war (if deceased, a former prisoner of war) OR A member of the Armed Services declared missing in action OR A deceased veteran that was permanently and totally disabled at the time of death WHO WAS Discharged under honorable conditions AND Is a resident of Kentucky OR If deceased, has been a resident of Kentucky.
