What is the 5 th Petition? And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
What does the word iniquity mean? gross injustice or wickedness
Why are babies to be baptized? Give one reason: A. They are included in the words “all nations” B. Jesus especially invites little children to come to Him C. As sinners, babies need what Baptism offers D. Babies also are able to have faith
Who is supposed to be baptized? All nations, all people young and old
What is the sixth petition? And lead us not into temptation
What do we need from God so that we can pray to Him confidently and in good conscience? Forgiveness
What does the testing of our faith develop? Perseverance
What tempted King David to commit adultery and murder? His own sinful nature
But deliver us from evil What is the Seventh Petition?
What is the sword of the Spirit? The word of God
What is our final deliverance from evil? When we die, God will take us to Heaven
What is the conclusion of The Lord’s Prayer? For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen
How do I know God is able to answer the prayers of His people in Christ Jesus? Name 1 He alone is the King who has all good gifts in His control. He alone has the power to grant our petitions He has all glory and is worthy of our praise.
