5 MERRTT 2005 Program Revisions Maintained Modular Design –18 modules and 4 hands-on activities designed for delivery in 16 hours. –Teach all or only the modules necessary to provide needed skills. Incorporated changes based on ERG and CFR changes –2004 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulation changes –2004 ERG Changes

6 MERRTT Program Approvals Department of Homeland Security has reviewed and accepted MERRTT into the listing of federal courses Continuing Education Coordination Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) training credit hours –Each MERRTT module has been awarded 0.5 hours continuing education credit hours –Student can be awarded 0.5 for the completion of a single module up to a total of 12.5 CEHs for completion of the entire MERRTT Program
