8 Communication degree structure Professional Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, Advertising Professional strandContextual studiesSchool and University Electives Complete at least half your coursework in your specialised stream per semester over the 3 years (24cp per semester). Pick one of the following streams and complete four or five 12cp courses in the same one: -Asian Media and Culture -Cinema Studies -Politics, Economics and Communication -Literary studies - Approaches to Popular Culture Complete two to five 12cp electives from the other BComm, BA, or BDesign programs in the School of Media and Communication. Select up to two 12cp electives from across the university
