3. God’s Demand (1) John 17 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. God demands of man that he have a knowledge of and belief in His existence and purpose in order to receive eternal life.

Immortality is a matter of hope You don’t hope for something that you already have
