Church 101 How Jesus Did It

Second Peter 1 Verse 20-21 Knowing this first that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. Peter is speaking of the Old Testament God didn’t dictate scripture word for word but He impressed men

First Chronicles 29:29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, Nathan and Gad are no less inspired than Samuel even though their books are not in the bible

Second Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: The Canon (or the measuring stick) is constructed as the standard for all other inspired writings. It is the standard of living for the Christian. The same Holy Spirit inspires all prophets. All prophets are measured by the Bible

Jude, verses 14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Although Enoch’s book didn’t make it into the official Bible, his writings are accepted as from God, being quoted here in Jude.

Did Ellen White Submit? Did Ellen White submit to the authority of Scripture? The Lord has sent His people much instruction, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, and there a little. Little heed is given to the Bible, and the Lord has given a lesser light to lead men and women to the greater light. CSA 68.6 (A Call to Stand Apart Ch. 17)

Are Prophets Perfect? Consider Jonah Remember Moses Have you forgotten that Miriam was a prophet? Ex. 15:20 We have to include Balaam None of their sins diminished the power or authority of their gifts.

Isaiah 5:8 Woe to them that join house to house Woe to those who rise up early in the morning (verse 11) Isaiah was known as the prophet of woe for the first five chapters. He isn’t converted until chapter 6. Isaiah 6:5 - Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips -

What makes Scripture God’s Word? The fact that God’s inspiration is in the thoughts and ideas are underneath the passion and words written by men on His behalf. When we engage the principles that the illustrations are motivated by, it draws us closer to God and lifts us higher in our life of worship.

The Ministry of Jesus Why weren’t the church leaders prepared to receive Jesus? Ezekiel 7:22 – “My face will I turn from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.”

Woe are You vs. Woe is Me While Isaiah learned the lesson, most church leaders failed to apply inspired thought to themselves. This was the climate when Jesus arrived on the scene. In fact, there was one lone voice crying in the wilderness and he was considered a threat by the organized church. Most of what you see on Christian TV today is witchcraft wrapped in Biblical terms.

The Word of Faith Movement All false prophets claim to have greater light while the Bible becomes lesser light.

The Word of Faith Movement All false prophets claim to have greater light while the Bible becomes lesser light.

The Word of Faith Movement All of the disciples of William Branham teach and reap Satanic fruit.

400 yrs of Twisted Thinking William Branham didn’t invent the concept of exploiting Christian themes for satanic power.

The Wailing Wall in Jerusalem Countless Zionists and Jews gather at the remains of the western wall of the temple praying for it’s return, mourning it’s loss
