11. Placement Guidelines for Grades Five to Six The following placement guidelines reflect input from Directors, representative Middle School Principals, representative Elementary School Principals, Coordinators, Teachers, Counselors, and Advisory Committee Members.

Placement into the accelerated courses to be made no later than the end of the first nine weeks III. Fewer students will be placed in the accelerated courses in the middle schools IV. Placement will be based on CRCT, ITBS, and Performance Series test scores
