5 John Lennon was born on October 9 th, 1940 in Liverpool, England. He co-founded the Beatles, one of the best bands of all time. He was abandoned by his father when he was a baby and his mother couldn’t handle being a parent. He was raised by his aunt and uncle. He was a decent student, but his super artistic ability led him through school. He started a band in high school called Quarry Men. A few years later when he was attending Liverpool Art College he joined a band called the Silver Beatles. The group split in 1971. He was shot by a fan on December 8 th, 1980 in New York, New York (Gale Research).the BeatlesLiverpool Art College back

11  Peace is when everything is calm and everyone is happy.  Peace is often disrupted and there and many problems In the world.  In this song John Lennon talks about how peace is important. back

12  Theme Is the main idea of the topic. Theme  In this song the theme is “And the world will be as one.”  I think this means that he wants the world to come together and be peaceful and help each other and be a family. back

13  World hunger and greed are some big problems in this world.  Greed changes a lot of people and makes them do bad things.  world hunger is mostly in Africa, but also in a lot of other places. It is a big problem and a ton of people die from it each year. world hunger back

15  The tone of this song is that he is a dreamer.tone  He has a vision that the world will be peaceful and there will be no problems.  Tone is the way that you express your feeling and your way of sounding. back

16  My interpretation of this line is that John Lennon wants to say that the world should live as a big family and be peaceful. He also wants that there are no problems. back
