When it is done without understanding Infant/ child Baptism

This is He who came by water and blood-- Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 1 John 5:6-8

Blood – the Grace of Christ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:7

Blood – the Grace of Christ Water – the action of Baptism …….in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism ….. through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 1 Peter 3:20-21

Blood – the Grace of Christ Water – the action of Baptism Spirit – the revelation of God "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63

Acts 8:36-37 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

Hebrews 6:1-2 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

1. Repentance from dead works 2. Faith toward God 3. The doctrine of baptisms 4. Laying on of hands 5. Resurrection of the dead 6. Eternal judgment

Depth of Maturity 1 Peter 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,

Depth of Maturity Person who “baptizes” 1 Corinthians 1:14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, lest anyone should say that I had baptized in my own name.

If you were “baptized” not knowing the Elementary Principles of Christ…. If you were “baptized” differently than the method of the Covenant of Christ… If your “baptism” wasn’t what saved you.. You should not be “re-baptized”, you should be baptized!

If you were “baptized” not having a complete knowledge of the truth….. If you were “baptized” but fell into sin since that time….. If you did not feel “baptism” change you… You must learn to have confidence that this was God’s work

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:17 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin. Romans 14:23
