Neptune Research Inc. Introduction For more than 25 years, Neptune Research Inc. has focused its strategic research initiatives on the development, manufacturing and marketing of state-of-the-art composite repair solutions that withstand he tests of time, water and other elements. Founded in 1982, NRI developed repair systems for applications within the marine industry. As the original inventors of the water activated, pre- impregnated composite material, NRI caught the attention of the U.S. Navy and in 1996 secured its first contract with the U.S. government requiring NRI's Syntho-Glass ® system to be standard onboard all Navy vessels. The company's success with the U.S. Navy led to the creation of larger and more robust materials. This expansion of its product capabilities allowed for the exploration of infrastructure repair opportunities in the refinery, chemical, power, municipal and commercial industries.

Two Components – Titan™: Reinforcing fibers (Carbon, glass) High tensile strength of fiber is used to handle the load. Polymeric matrix (Epoxy, vinyl ester, urethane) - Matrix material binds the fibers into shapes - Provides bond strength to substrates for load transfer Systems are designed to share the stress with the structure. Systems capable of repairing structures and restoring them back to original design strength. Systems are capable of increasing the load capacity of an existing structure. Systems are capable of strengthening structures with design flaws. Composite Repair Technology Reinforcing Fiber Matrix
