2. Hi! My name is Asya. I am 10 years old and I am from Russia. I live in Magnitogorsk. I go to a primary school. I am in year 4. I love my school, but I don’t like wearing school uniform. I love all my school subjects. My favourite class is English. My Mum’s name is Alexandra. She is a teacher. She is kind and very clever. She is slim and she’s got dark hair. She’s really very pretty.

3. Em is my brother. He is 20 and he is a student. He’s tall. He is cool. Studying takes up a lot of his time. He is a computer wizard at programming. That’s my Grandma. She is kind and really funny. She can make cookies. She loves to give dinner parties to our relatives and friends. My granny is a very special person who means a lot to me! Jessica is my dog. She is 2 years old. She is big with golden fur. I take her for walks in the park every day.

It’s the steel capital of our country and I like it here. I’ve got a small family. My mum’s name is Natasha. She is an IT teacher. That’s why Information Technology is my favourite subject.

6. My father is an engineer at the Iron and Steel Works. He is the best father in the world. He is proud of his profession. He and his friends make steel for cars, trains, planes and many other things. I’ve got a pet dog. His name is Sultan. He is very clever and funny. He’s got black and brown fur, short ears, a wet nose and a fat body. He is strong. He can run, jump and swim. He likes playing with a ball. He can play all day long.

8. Hello! My name is Yegor. I’m 10 and I come from Russia. I live with my parents in Magnitogorsk, the Steel heart of our country. I haven’t got brothers or sisters. We are a small but very friendly family. My dad is a worker. His hobby is hockey. He is a hockey fan. My mum is a teacher. She doesn’t like hockey. I go to school every day in the week and I have a lot of homework to do. It is not cool! We often have tests and we revise a lot. We don’t have a lot of fun at school.

9. I love Sundays. Every Sunday I get up at ten o’clock. No school and no homework. It’s cool! My favourite subject is PE and my favourite sport is hockey. Five days a week four of my classmates and I play hockey in a Metallurg hockey club. We play for the junior team “Steel Foxes”. My dad goes to all our matches.
