11
What transformed Paul? The Risen Lord! I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. 2 Tim 1:12
12
What transformed Paul? Resurrection Power! Phil 3:10-11 “I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.”
13
What transformed Paul? The Power of His Resurrection! Eph 1:19-21 The surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places...” Eph 2:6 “Raised up with Christ to sit in the heavenly places.”
14
What transformed Paul? Eph 3:14-16 I bow my knees before the Father, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man Eph 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us...

Belief in the Resurrection changed these men WHAT HAS BELIEF IN THE RESURRECTION DONE FOR YOU?
17
The Hope of the Resurrection 1 Cor 15:35-44 4 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised? And with what kind of body do they come?" 36 You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies; So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
18
What does the Resurrection Prove? Rom 1:4 “Who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead!” Proves that God exists and is all powerful!
19
How does it give us hope? 1 Cor 6:19 “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?” Proves that our bodies are good and not evil! It will be the basis for our new incorruptible eternal body!
20
How Does it Give Us Hope? It proves there is life after death! Romans 6:9 “Death hath no more dominion over Him.” Romans 6:4 We are raised with Him. Matt 16:18 “The Gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
21
Belief in the Resurrection Gives us Victory over Death!
22
1 Cor 15:53-57. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 55 " O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
23
Resurrection Gives us Hope in Heaven 1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

27
Rm 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
