10. The book of Proverbs speaks repeatedly of two kinds of people

11. The first is a righteous, diligent and wise person

12. The second is a wicked, lazy fool!

17. Proverbs 6:6-11 6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

25. Which “SMART” will you be concerning money?

26. “I want to be intelligent when it comes to money”

27. “I want to be satisfied, successful and secure”

28. If you want to have some serious “Money Smarts,” you must say ‘yes’ to some things, and you must say ‘no’ to some other things!

30. 1. Yes! I will be TEACHABLE! Proverbs 8:10-11 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. Receive God’s Instruction

31. 1. Yes! I will be TEACHABLE! Proverbs 8:10-11 11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Receive God’s Instruction

32. 1. Yes! I will be TEACHABLE! Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured. Regard Reproof

33. 1. Yes! I will be TEACHABLE! Proverbs 13:18 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD. Realize where financial blessings come from

34. 2. Yes! I will be DILIGENT! Proverbs 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Working hard pays

35. 2. Yes! I will be DILIGENT! Proverbs 14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox. Working hard pays

36. 2. Yes! I will be DILIGENT! Proverbs 12:11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Working steadily satisfies

37. 2. Yes! I will be DILIGENT! Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. Working brings increase

47. 4. Yes! I will be HUMBLE! Proverbs 15:16 Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith. God is God and I am not!

50. 4. Yes! I will be HUMBLE! Proverbs 22:4 By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life. God gets the credit, not me!

52. I will be TEACHABLE! I will be DILIGENT! I will be HONEST! I will be HUMBLE! I will be TEACHABLE! I will be DILIGENT! I will be HONEST! I will be HUMBLE!

55. To avoid the ‘stingingly painful’ realities of mismanaged finances, you must be willing to say ‘NO!’ to some things…

63. 4. To GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES Proverbs 28:19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
