LE FUTUR en français

THE FUTURE There are 2 ways to say things in the future : I’m going to study (go+ing + verb) And I will study (will + verb) The same is true for French : Je vais (am going) apprendre (to learn) Nous allons (we’re going) apprendre (to learn) The second way is a little different to English however
3
FUTURE TENSE Instead of adding an extra word as in English I will eat, we will go, he’ll play In French, they add an ending to the verb : Je mangerai I will eat Je jouerai I will play Je regarderai I will watch

THE ENDINGS For each person, there is a different ending : Je+ aijouerai* Tu + asjoueras** Il/elle+ ajouera** Nous+ onsjouerons*** Vous+ ezjouerez* Ils/elles+ ontjoueront*** */**/*** sound the same !
