WHYMERGE Midland needs Grosse Pointe for population (kids interested in continuing playing) while Grosse Pointe needs Midland for our Fastbreak brand (a proven program with success that is run the right way)

We can pull the best talent in Mid-Michigan and Detroit so our kids can compete at National and Regional Tournaments.

Players who want to continue playing after the State Tournament are able to continue playing for Fastbreak.

Merging the teams will increase the pool of players and provide coaches with players for the spring season.

Bob Taylor would have direct control over both locations and will continue to train and develop both teams.

A percentage of Fastbreak profits will go directly back into the program to benefit our players.

Players will receive discounts to basketball camps, clinics and events such as Point Guard College.
