2. About Hughesville Hughesville is located jut 25 minutes outside of Williamsport PA, in Lycoming County. As of July 2005, the estimated population of the borough was 2,200 strong. Hughesville is conveniently located near other smaller cities such as Picture Rocks, Muncy, Turbotville, Montgomery, McEwensville, Washingtonville, and Watsontown. 8. Lycoming County Fair One of the major events in Lycoming County each year is the annual Lycoming County Fair, held in mid-July. The fairground is located in the borough of Hughesville in the southeastern part of the county.
