IPv4 Post-depletion Scenarios trials Dual-stack VPN Service trial (2010) Service by Service Development Benchmarking & Studies for IPv6 Adoption IPv6 Trials Service by service development plan Verify ISP wholesale model IPv6 International Peering IPv6 Awareness (2009) Network Capabilities Network Assessment Update technical specs to include IPv6 requirements Launch at least one IPv6 based service as per CITC requirements IPv6 Awareness

Industrial Development, R&D Page 4 Aachievements (1/4) Network Elements (HW/SW) Management Systems IPv4 Address (Private & Public) Current / Future Services Network assessment conducted, including audit of Hardware Management systems Applications Updated of all relevant technical specs to include IPv6 requirements Saudinet, Awalnet and CITC are exchanging IPv6 routs, we encourage other ISP to be part of this connection STC has Launched ISP national interconnection based on IPv6 VPN

Industrial Development, R&D Page 5 Aachievements (2/4) IPv6 International Peering of the STC IGW with a Tier-1 upstream provider has been completed. The IPv6 address block assigned to Saudinet is now advertised on the global IPv6 Internet routing tables Established IPv6 International Peering connection STC has verified that the current wholesale backbone transport model (for user PPP sessions) used for carrying ISP traffic can also support IPv6 Internet traffic. Therefore ISPs will be able to offer their customers both IPv4 and IPv6 Internet services without any dependencies on STC to change its PPP transport model Verified STC’s ISP wholesale transport model is dual-stack capable Proof of concept trials in the STC test lab have been conducted for the dual- stack (IPv4 and IPv6) Internet service model Conducted IPv6 DSL HSI (High Speed Internet) Service PoC trials

Industrial Development, R&D Page 6 IPv6 Aachievements (3/4) A proof-of-concept trial in the STC test lab have been conducted for the IPv6 Internet service over the mobile packet switched core Conducted IPv6 Mobile HSI Service PoC trials Transition mechanisms adoptions by leading edge operators benchmarking Overview of IPv4 & IPv6 Coexistence Proposals & Strategies Benchmarks & Studies for IPv6 STC has invited MOI to conduct trial in STC lab to test their systems readiness for IPv6. A Lab trial has been conducted with MOI

Industrial Development, R&D Page 7 IPv6 Aachievements (4/4) More than 10 presentations / workshops were conducted to STC depatments IPv6 migration plan presentation conducted on the CITC 2009 workshop IPv6 overview to MOI NIC Two presentations were conducted on CITC meetings Introduction to IPv6 were conducted to MOI IPv6 Awareness Completed 85% of the IPv6 DSL HSI Pilot on the live network
