InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standard (INCITS) – is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop standards in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). INCITS/L1, Geographic Information Systems is chartered with the development of Geographic Information/Geospatial Standards. INCITS/L1 serves as the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO TC211 – Geographic Information/Geomatics [191XX Standards] InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standard (INCITS) – is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop standards in the field of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
