OUTLINE 22/05/2008Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara2 1.B off Aligned scenario Misaligned scenario in X: M4Aside=3mm, M4Cside=-6mm 2.B on Aligned scenario Misaligned scenario in X: M4Aside=3mm, M4Cside=-6mm Three differents possibility for each of them (in order of analisys): 1.Ctalk (big pad); 2.No Ctalk; 3.First pad selected; New geometry and the last version of Gauss, Boole, Brunel are used in all the scenarios. M1-M5 are the fixed stations.

RESULTS FROM THE COMPARISONS CaseCtalkNo CtalkFirst pad X, B off, Aligned Ok X, B on, Aligned Ok Y, B off, Aligned Ok Y, B on, Aligned Ok X, B off, Misaligned Ok X, B on, Misaligned Ok Y, B off, Misaligned Ok Y, B on, Misaligned Ok 22/05/2008Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara18 But I think that rebbining for the chamber dimensions in the case of Y, we can use the Ctalk (big pad) without troubles

CONCLUSIONS I think that the best selection for us is to use the “PADONE” for several reasons: - Shape of X (Y rebbining) residual distributions -Number of tracks respect No Ctalk selection 22/05/2008Simone Brusa, INFN-Ferrara19
