3 Contract Options for FMS DFARS 217.2 Contract options may be used for foreign military sales requirements. Contract Clause 252.217-7000 – On the date the option is exercised, the Government shall identify the foreign country for the purpose of negotiating any equitable adjustment attributable to foreign military sales.
