4. 1 Chronicles 13:7-14 7 They transported the Ark of God from the house of Abinadab on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it. 8 David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might, singing and playing all kinds of musical instruments—lyres, harps, tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.

5. 9 But when they arrived at the threshing floor of Nacon,* the oxen stumbled, and Uzzah put out his hand to steady the Ark. 10 Then the Lord’s anger blazed out against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had laid his hand on the Ark. So Uzzah died there in the presence of God.

6. 11 David was angry because the Lord’s anger had blazed out against Uzzah. He named that place Perez-uzzah (which means “outbreak against Uzzah”). It is still called that today. 12 David was now afraid of God and asked, “How can I ever bring the Ark of God back into my care?”

7. 13 So David decided not to move the Ark into the City of David. He took it instead to the home of Obed-edom of Gath. 14 The Ark of God remained there with the family of Obed-edom for three months, and the Lord blessed him and his entire household.

8. Proverbs 3:5-13(KJV) 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

11. 1 Chronicles 15:15 15 And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the Lord.

12. 1 Chronicles 15:2-3(KJV) 2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the Lord chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. 3 And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

15. What are instructions to Parents? Deut 11:19 (NLT) Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up again. 20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

17. What about my Finances?
