Heart and Soul

Ecclesiastes 4.9-12 (NLT) Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone?

Ecclesiastes 4.9-12 (NLT) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple braided cord is not easily broken.

Big Idea When the RIGHT PEOPLE Gather together for the RIGHT REASONS God shows up and does the RIGHT THINGS

Who are the 5 most dominant voices into your life?

1 Samuel 14:1-7 (NIV) One day Jonathan son of Saul said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the Philistine outpost on the other side.” But he did not tell his father. Saul was staying on the outskirts of Gibeah under a pomegranate tree in Migron.

1 Samuel 14:1-7 (NIV) With him were about six hundred men, among whom was Ahijah, who was wearing an ephod. He was a son of Ichabod’s brother Ahitub son of Phinehas, the son of Eli, the Lord’s priest in Shiloh. No one was aware that Jonathan had left.

1 Samuel 14:1-7 (NIV) On each side of the pass that Jonathan intended to cross to reach the Philistine outpost was a cliff; one was called Bozez and the other Seneh. One cliff stood to the north toward Mikmash, the other to the south toward Geba.

1 Samuel 14:1-7 (NIV) Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.” “Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”

The Right People 1.Feel like Family (v1)

Psalm 68.4-6 (NIV) Sing praises to God and to His name! Sing loud praises to Him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord — rejoice in His presence! Father to the fatherless, defender of widows — This is God, whose dwelling is holy. God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But He makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

The Right People 1.Feel like Family (v1) 2.Help you Navigate your journey (v4)

Bozez means “SLIPPERY” Seneh means “THORNY”

1 Peter 5.5-6 (NLT) And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

The Right People 1.Feel like Family (v1) 2.Help you Navigate your journey (v4) 3.Are with you Heart and Soul (v7)

2 Corinthians 4.14-15 (NLT) For Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.
