Elena is the fourth generation of the Arzak family to head up the restaurant since it opened in 1897. 20. PINTXOS TOUR The Old Part is the best place to taste some “pintxos” (culinary art in miniature). There are traditional and innovative “pintxos” at the spectacular bars of San Sebastian. Testing cider from the “kupela” (wooden barrel) is a delightful, almost ceremonial rite that takes place in “sidrerías” (Cider Houses). Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in a rustic rural setting.
