He Saved Others
2
ISAIAH 53:7 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
3
MATTHEW 26 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
4
MATTHEW 27 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. 44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
5
ENSIGN.AN_ PHOENIX.AZ FRIDAY_ 62-0119 E-28 But in the long run it destroys himself, because he--it's something that he has achieved while he's in God's workshop trying to make something, pervert what God has made, and put it into his own ideas, and make it up.
6
ENSIGN.AN_ PHOENIX.AZ FRIDAY_ 62-0119 E-29 So you see, what a man tries to achieve, he just makes a mess out of it. He cannot save himself. And he tries by education. He's took that route to see if he couldn't educate people into a saving knowledge of Christ, or saving knowledge for himself, or to do something through his education.
7
ENSIGN.AN_ PHOENIX.AZ FRIDAY_ 62-0119 E-31 Adam really expressed that, the first man on earth. After finding that he had fallen from grace, he tried to take his own intelligence and make a way back to God without an atonement. He tried to go back to God without making an atonement, something to pay for his sins. After the penalty of God was death, he tried to go back without a death atonement.
8
ENSIGN.AN_ PHOENIX.AZ FRIDAY_ 62-0119 And He has refused it then, and He always will refuse it, because without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sins. He just can't get back because the penalty is death, and something has to die to pay that penalty. So it can only be substitutionary, or we're all in death if there wasn't a substitute for us to hold on to.
11
FAITH_ PRINCE.ALBERT.SK WEDNESDAY_ 56-0815 E-24 Man just can't keep his promise to God. His adversary's too great. And God knowing that, He was determined to save man, so He made the covenant unconditionally.
12
WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK_ PHOENIX.AZ THURSDAY_ 55-0224 E-20 That's the strain of man yet tonight. Even after four thousand, yes, nearly six-thousand years, man's still trying to cover his own sins by his own merits.
13
WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK_ PHOENIX.AZ THURSDAY_ 55-0224 E-21 Just simply, "By grace are you saved through faith." He will try to mystify it, and have all kinds of a seeing lights, and hearing sounds, and everything, and all kinds of mystifying things to get people to be saved. Maybe some one did see it, but that don't mean that all has to see it. You just believe it.
14
WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK_ PHOENIX.AZ THURSDAY_ 55-0224 Don't try to get somebody else's calling. Stay in your own calling. If you're a housewife, remain a housewife. Whatever God has called you to do, just remain there. He knows where to put His hand on you and use you.
15
SIGN.OF.THE.TIME_ BANGOR.ME TUESDAY_ 58-0520 E-20 They knowed about the supernatural. They knowed about God, but they were unconcerned, because they felt self-centered, self-sufficient. And that's about where we got today: self-sufficient. We don't need anything else. Oh, the Bible said, "Thou art wretched, miserable, blind, poor, and naked, and don't know it," in this days that we're now living.
17
INFLUENCE.OF.ANOTHER_ JEFF.IN V-4 N-11 SATURDAY_ 62-1013 60...lifted up, self-willed, self-centered, pride, that you can't tell nothing to. God can't find a way to get into their hearts. It's because they become so know-it-all that nobody can tell them anything. And by building themself around reasoning with brethren, they build themselves around their creed. And when they do, they leave God in the back.
18
INFLUENCE.OF.ANOTHER_ JEFF.IN V-4 N-11 SATURDAY_ 62-1013 That's what happens to doctors. When they get so self-centered that they don't need any help from God, that's when I don't one--want one fooling with me. When you leave God out of anything, you just--I want you to leave me out too. See? Because you must always remember God first. He got lifted up.

EARNESTLY.CONTENDING.FOR.THE.FAITH_ CONNERSVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ 53-0614A E-39 The Jews said, "He saved others; He can't save Himself. If He's that great Saviour, let Him save Himself, then we believe Him." Why, it was the greatest compliment they ever paid Him. Why, He couldn't save others, and save Hisself, so He gave Hisself to save others. Hallelujah.
21
EARNESTLY.CONTENDING.FOR.THE.FAITH_ CONNERSVILLE.IN SUNDAY_ 53-0614A E-40 There's God's provided sacrifice. There's the faith that was once delivered to the saints, hanging, bleeding, bleating, dying, like Abel's lamb.
22
CURTAIN.OF.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 55-0302 E-26... but would be stood and made fun of, a Man who could perceive their thoughts
23
CURTAIN.OF.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 55-0302 E-26 And reached over and pulled beard out of His face, and spit in His face. A Divine person, how could that be? I imagine His followers said, "Well, why don't He just do something about it?" Well, if He'd have done something about it, you and I would've been in an awful fix tonight. He couldn't do nothing about it, save Himself and save others, He had to give Himself.
24
CURTAIN.OF.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 55-0302 See, that critical spirit, how that God, how He just let those things happen so. "That it fools the wise and prudent and will reveal it to babes, such as will learn." You've got to forget all you ever know, and let yourself be submissive to the Spirit of God, then God can going to teach you.
25
CURTAIN.OF.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 55-0302 Now, so humble and it's so simple, till the wise people can't understand it. It's so simplified, till the wise don't get it. They try to make it complicated to the church. They try to make it a great big lots of sanctifying things you have to do, and stop this, and do this, and all this, that, and the other, and... Why it's not at all; just believe it, and accept it, and that settles it.
26
CURTAIN.OF.TIME_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 55-0302 God comes into your heart, and He takes care of the rest of it. If He can ever gain the--the--in you heart, gain a place in your heart, then the rest of it will take care of itself. I love that.
28
HEBREWS.CHAPTER.2.PART.3_ JEFF.IN HEB WEDNESDAY_ 57-0828 84-301 He could've saved Himself. But if He saved Himself, others He could not save. So He gave Himself. Blessed be His Name. He gave Himself that I could be saved and you could be saved. Oh, what matchless love.
29
MIGHTY.CONQUEROR_ CHICAGO.IL FRIDAY_ 58-0110 E-10 He did not come to conquer for Himself. His objectives was to do the will of God Who sent Him. He did not fight for Himself; He gave Himself.
30
QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS_ JEFF.IN COD SUNDAY_ 64-0823M 921-8 And He really loves you more than He loved Himself, because He gave Himself for you. You're the purchase of His Blood…
31
THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 15-3 He was just one Man, the perfect Man. He gave His life, and He made an example for you.
32
THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 Now, what must we do. Now, the first thing I want to say is: Jesus never lived for Himself. His Life was spent for others. That's perfectly Eternal Life. When you say you go to church and you do good things, that's fine. But when you live your life to yourself, you haven't Eternal Life. Eternal life is living for others.
33
THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 15-6 Someone said, "How can you stand and let anyone call you such bad names?" You don't live for yourself. You live for others that you might redeem that man. You become sons. And the trouble of it is that the church has forgot they were sons. You are sons. You're taking Christ's place. You are sons; so don't live for yourself; live for others.
34
THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 "Well, Brother Branham, I can live for this brother because he sure is a nice man." That's not it. Live for that man who hates you. Live for that person who'd kill you if they could. That's what they done to Him. They killed Him, and He died that He might save them. That's Eternal Life. When you--that's in your bosom, you're facing heaven then. But you sacrifice your own things, give them up like the sheep gives its wool. You look on towards Calvary.
35
REV.CHAP.5.PT1.BRUISED.SERPENT_ JEFF.IN ROJC 717-746 SUNDAY_ 61-0611 Which, life in itself is a burden. And it will make it a little lighter for someone else. You just don't know the joy unless you've tried it once, to do something for someone else.
