17 Meu Vs. Minha Meu is used when the following word is masculine. Minha is used when the following word is feminine. When talking a mixed gender group of people, remember that the MASCULINE form is always used. Ex. You would say Meus primos when talking about your cousins in general instead of saying Minhas primas.
