3 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 1 Launch the Voice Memo app on your iPhone.

4 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 2 Click the red button when you’re ready to start recording.

5 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 3 You will see a white circle button with a red square in it, and the audio wave build as you speak. When you’re finished, or want to pause, click the red square to stop the recording.

6 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 4 The red button will fill in any time you stop recording. When you’re finished, click “Done.”

7 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 5 As soon as you click “Done,” you’ll be prompted to save your voice memo.

8 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 6 Give the voice memo an appropriate name.

9 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 7 Your voice memo will appear in the list of all the voice memos you have stored on your phone.

10 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 8 Click on the voice memo you want to submit, then click the share icon.

11 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 9 You will see your sharing options. Use the Mail button to email the file to your professor. Or email the file to yourself, so you can upload the file per the professor’s instructions.

12 iPhone Voice Memo: Step 10 Fill in the email information. If you need help configuring your phone to use your Trinity email account, visit the Help Desk. When you’re done, click Send.

13 PC Sound Recorder: Step 1 Sound Recorder is a standard part of all Windows installations. Start by launching Sound Recorder from your Program files.

14 PC Sound Recorder: Step 2 Click the “Start Recording” button with the red dot.

15 PC Sound Recorder: Step 3 The green bar will advance while you are recording.

16 PC Sound Recorder: Step 4 Click stop recording when your finished, or want to pause.

17 PC Sound Recorder: Step 5 Save the file to a location you can easily find again, and click the “Save” button. Once you’ve saved the file, you can continue recording, or submit the file as per your professor’s instructions.

18 PC Sound Recorder: Note Sound Recorder only allows you to save as a Windows Media file. Mac users may need a plugin to preview files. All lab Macs have VLC, which will play the file. Contact the help desk if you need assistance.

19 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 1 If you have Mac OS X 10.6 or later, QuickTime comes installed on your computer. Open Quick Time from your Applications folder.

20 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 2 Open the file menu and select “New Audio Recording.”

21 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 3 The Audio Recording interface will appear. Click the red button to start recording.

22 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 4 The button will turn into a square while you are recording. Click it again to stop recording.

23 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 5 You can replay your recording. If your satisfied, go on to Step 6. If you want to record again, go back to Step 2 and start over.Step 6Step 2

24 Mac QuickTime Player: Step 6 When you’re satisfied with your recording, open the file menu and select “Save.” Save the file to a location you’ll be able to find again, and submit the file as per your professor’s instructions.
