3 WebClock This tutorial provides a step-by-step explanation of how to use WebClock for tracking time and attendance. By the end of this tutorial, you should:  Be able to sign in and out of WebClock, and  Select the correct “punch types” for recording your time. Click on the arrows below to move forward and backward through the tutorial

4 The Nutrition Services Handbook Honesty Policy requires all District Records to be absolutely accurate. Each employee must enter his or her own time in WebClock. Do NOT enter “punches” for other employees. Contact your Program Manager if assistance is needed. The District Network and Computer Use guidelines require that you prevent others from using your password. Keep your information confidential at all times.

5 Let’s Begin

6 Log In to WebClock From the desktop of the computer, double click on the WebClock icon.

7 Enter User ID and Password Keep the confidential wallet-sized card in a secure place and memorize your User ID and Password. Click the Sign In button

8 The WebClock screen will open Your Name Your Empl ID

9 Enter Punch Type “In” Click the Punch Type drop down list Click “In”

10 Add Comments (optional) If needed, in the Comments box, enter notes for your Program Manager. Example: Flexing hours due to late opening.

11 Verify Location In the Location box, verify the correct number of the school where you are working. If you work at a variety of sites, click the Magnifying Glass to select your location for this work day.

12 Enter tasks at end of shift The task box will be used at the end of the day to record the time for Banking, Travel, and Fruit and Vegetable (FVP). One exception is if you are a Substitute Lead.

13 Enter Punch Go back up to the top of the screen, click the Enter Punch button.

14 Click to confirm punch type “In” Check the information before clicking OK

15 Sign Out Click the Sign Out button in the upper right of the screen to sign out of WebClock so that the next person can sign in.

16 Sign in to Punch “Meal” When you take your meal break, enter User ID and Password and sign in to WebClock. Click the Sign In button

17 Enter Punch Type “Meal” Click the Punch Type drop down list Click “Meal”

18 Enter Punch Click the Enter Punch button.

19 Click to confirm punch type “Meal” Check the information before clicking OK

20 Sign Out Click the Sign Out button in the upper right of the screen to sign out of WebClock.

21 Punch “In” from meal When you return from your meal, enter User ID and Password and sign in to WebClock. Click the Sign In button

22 Enter Punch Type “In” Click the Punch Type drop down list Click “In”

23 Enter Punch Click the Enter Punch button.

24 Click to confirm punch type “In” Check the information before clicking OK

25 Sign Out Click the Sign Out button in the upper right of the screen to sign out of WebClock.

26 Sign in to Punch “Out” When you are ready to enter tasks and punch “Out” for the day, enter User ID and Password and sign in to WebClock. Click the Sign In button

27 Enter Punch Type “Out” Click the Punch Type drop down list Click “Out”

28 Enter tasks before punching “Out” To record time for Banking, Travel to another location or Fruit and Vegetable Program (FVP), Click the Task Magnifying Glass, then… Click on the underlined Task to select it.

29 Enter Punch Click the Enter Punch button.

30 Click to confirm punch type “Out” Check the information before clicking OK

31 Sign Out Click the Sign Out button in the upper right of the screen to sign out of WebClock.

32 Use NS Attendance Report for backup If the computer is down, the Nutrition Services Attendance Report will be used as the backup system for recording time worked and tasks such as Banking, Travel to another location, Fruit and Vegetable Program (FVP), and Acting as Lead.
