11 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. a bright light from heaven suddenly flashed around him. 4 And he fell to the earth, He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

12 Lord? the Lord said IT IS HARD FOR THEE TO KICK AGAINST THE PRICKS. 5 why do you persecute me?” Why are you so cruel to me?” And he said, Who art thou, Lord? “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. 5 “Who are you?” Saul asked. And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “I am the one you are so cruel to. 6 Now get up and go into the city, where you will be told what to do.” IT IS HARD FOR THEE TO KICK AGAINST THE PRICKS.

14 5 “Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied, “I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! 6 Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

15 8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: 8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. 8 Saul picked himself up off the ground, but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. 9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

16 named Ananias 10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. 10 Now there was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

17 11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, 11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street the house of Judas on Straight Street. The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, 12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Jerusalem:

18 13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Lord, “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, a lot of people have told me about the terrible things this man has done to your followers in Jerusalem.

19 14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.” 14 Now the chief priests have given him the power to come here and arrest anyone who worships in your name.” he is a chosen vessel unto me 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

20 This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. Go! I have chosen him to tell foreigners, kings, and the people of Israel about me. Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel for worshiping in my name.” 16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for worshiping in my name.”

21 17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord— Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”. He wants you to be able to see and to be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

22 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

23 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength Suddenly something like fish scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see. He got up and was baptized. 19 Then he ate and felt much better.
