4 Day to Day ISAs work closely with Head of Learning to ensure all pupils achieve excellence. 6 Multi Agency Working One of the Key aims of the ECM Agenda is that all agencies that work with young people work closely together in order to ensure children's needs are meet quickly, sensitively and effectively. 7 Bullying Bullying occurs in all schools but at Whitburn Church of England Academy we are a telling school where students and parents can expect bullying to be dealt with if we are aware of it. There are many forms of bullying – all cases are investigated and school policy is applied but each case is looked at individually. 8 Child Protection ALL staff play an important role in CP. If you have any concerns about a pupil please refer these on as soon as possible to Excellence and Inclusion Manager or Assistant Head Teacher for Excellence and Inclusion.

9 Extended Schools The aim of the Extended Schools Initiative is that the school will be a central hub for the community. In order to make sure our children are successful it is important to make sure that the whole community is supported. Aims for all schools to be open from 8 – 6 and all year round providing various activities including Study Support and Sporting Activities. These can be run by school staff and also outside agencies.
